This is one of those peices I wish I could keep for myself. I've never made a puppet before. And he is beautiful, in a "Pull Your Heartstrings" kind of way.
His hands, head, and feet are formed and painted clay. The doll itself stands about 10.5 inches tall, with marrionette fittings making him a total of 19.5 inches tall, when held in the "Puppet" fashion.. His hands and feet have been painted the corresponding white and black, while his face, was lovingly painted to portray his sadness, complete with a solitary tear beneath his left eye. He was completed with a beautiful handsown purple velour outfit, complete with trimmed cape.
He is a very charming peice. And he needs a good home.
Even a clown can't smile all the time, right?
